Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Purchase Intention Konsumen pada Produk Mobil Listrik
The increasing air pollution caused by gas emissions from motor vehicles has become a crucial environmental problem. Electric cars come as an innovation that is expected to reduce pollution and provide a solution to energy scarcity in the future. However, the use of electric cars in Indonesia has not yet achieved optimal results. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the purchase intention of electric cars in Indonesia by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and adding price value, infrastructure barrier, and environmental self-image variables. The research method uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique, involving 200 respondents who use conventional cars in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude, subjective norm, price value, and environmental self-image have a significant positive effect on the purchase intention of electric cars. Infrastructure barrier shows a negative effect, while perceived behavioral control does not show a significant effect. The research model showed good predictive ability with an R2 value for attitude of 41% and purchase intention of 65.7%. The findings provide important insights for electric car manufacturers and policy makers in designing strategies to increase the adoption of electric cars in Indonesia. This research also contributes to theory development by integrating TAM and TPB in the context of green technology adoption.
