This thesis examines the 2015 Migrant Crisis in European Union. This thesis wants to explain the policy of the countries of the Visegrád Group regarding the problem of migrants from the Near East and North Africa during crisis in 2015. Writer identified, using Securitization theory from Copenhagen School Perspective: The securitization of migration in Visegrad Four is driven through the discursive representation of the Syrian migrant as a societal threat for their own cultural identity and the welfare of each Members of Visegrad Four, The objective of this article is to examine to what extent the migrant and refugee crises 2014+ in Europe, the limited effectiveness of the EU migration and asylum policy and the differences between the MS in their approaches infl uenced the situation, in which the Visegrad states attempted to find a common voice, strengthen their position in the EU and formulate the basis for the future common policy
