Therefore, knowing the view ofa prominent Muslim scholars such as Shafii Maarif about the relationship between Islam andthe national is an important topic for research. What does he thinkabout the problems facing the country such as conflict, corruption, economic development,education and so forth. Shafii is one figure who pay attention to the problems of the people.
