The Development of Dual Transcript Software Application in Paramadina University
The process of non-academic transcript (dual transcript) data collection is not optimal yet due to limited human resources and the tools. The Directorate of Students Development (DPM) used online spread sheet tools to collect the student‘s non-academic activities data that will be processed to print as a non-academic transcript. In the process of the dual transcript data collection DPM face some problems such as long data searching process, overwhelm in inputting the data, and long process of making point summary. This research is designed to develop an application that can help the Directorate of Students Development (DPM) to collect non-academic data collection and process it into a transcript. This application is called dual transcript application. The research used iterative evolutionary prototyping process in developing dual transcript application. This application is tested to verify that it can support the DPM in collecting non academic activities data. This application involved some stakeholder in the process of collecting the data; students, academic staff, head of department, and DPM staff which before only DPM who involved in the process of data collection. Generally dual transcript application is able to support the process of inputting data, summarizing the points achieved by students, and notify the students for the status of point submission.
