Effect of Trust and Commitment on Cooperation: Case study on Pertamedika Indonesia

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the commitment and trust on cooperation which are influenced by determinants, product price, termination cost, relationship policy and practice, post-acquisition benefits, communication and information exchange, and the righteous behavior. In addition, the relationship commitment and trust plays a major role in mediating the relationship between the determinants on cooperation. The samples used were managers or employees in the hospitals that use products from PT. Pertamina Bina Medika, data showed a total of 77 respondents, whereas sampling in July of 2012. Data analysis using Path Analysis. The result shows that the model I: product price, termination cost, post-acquisition benefits, relationship policies and practices, trust effect on commitment is significant, only a portion of the product price variable is not significant. Model II: Variable relationship policies and practices, righteous behavior, and communication and information exchange effect on trust is really significant. Model III: The variables of trust and commitment affect the cooperation is really significant.
